Based in South Yorkshire and producing art and media works since 2015 under the name The Fairfax Curator, I have ‘lost’ little pieces of art, stitchwork, craft and media in all sorts of places since being just four years old. Making things with Nan and Grandad to use, eat, drink and give away has always just been daily life. For the last four decades, these pieces were always produced on a voluntary and spontaneous basis, to give joy or support to whoever was nearest, or just to get involved. From a paper angel sculpture for REMA to a postgraduate level short book, many of these creations have been mammoth undertakings. Chosen elements of my artwork have been on sale since 2021.
